A Little About Our Cake Boss
Salah Zahafi, Executive Pastry Chef at So Sweet Pastries, was originally trained in Paris, France. Working with world-renowned hotels like Ritz Carlton and Le Meridian within various nations, his wealth of knowledge includes pastries from around the world – where each weekend his team was tasked with the need to create desserts from countries as wide as their guest list. Whether it be desserts from Indonesia, Greece, Australia, or Jamaica – Chef Salah was always ready for the task at hand. With over 40 years of experience, Chef Salah’s clientele have included making cakes and pastries for royalty –Kings, Queens, Presidents, and more! He’s also created cakes for relatives of Henry Ford, companies like Tiffany and Co., just to name a few, as well as creating masterpieces of cakes and dessert tables that served 3,000 people and beyond! In his previous position, Chef Salah was making over 75 wedding cakes a week.
